It is a bridge with a single mansonry arch slightly pointed, about 7.20 meters of light, 3.40 m wide and 4.40 m shaft, built in the Middle Ages the river Termes, a affluent of the Miño river from the left.
Its granite mansonry is well rooted in the rocky outcrops along the river, which justifies the relatively good condition of the work. It is part of a tourist route called way of the Frades and it is said queen Santa Isabel of Portugal (1274-1336) went through it in her way to Santiago.
