This is an old medieval bridge built over the river Ulla in the current border between the provinces of A Coruña and Pontevedra. It was repaired possibly in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, and even a few years ago was still in use for the passage of the highway road, which was later diverted by another bridge built upstream.
It has six arches, with ridged profile and strong embankments and cutwaters running down to the road forming sidings.
