In 1992, the restoration project of the bridge of Navia de Suarna (Lugo) was drafted by the civil engineers M. Durán, C. Nárdiz and S. Alvarado, and the works were executed between 1994 and 1995.
This bridge was made of flagstone of the surrounding area and its only span of impressive dimensions (21 meters) makes it one of the biggest bridges in Galicia.
The bridge has a low ridge and an irregular road with considerably high parapets -1,90 meters in the center of the arch- and allows the crossing of the Navia river.
